Refused to enter another country: chances of impacting FLR(M)?

Post by Two9A » Wed Jan 03, 2018 6:04 pm

So my wife and I were recently denied entry to the Seychelles, on the grounds that we had an apartment rented out for an extended period instead of a hotel booking for the duration of our stay. I understand that this will need to be declared when my wife applies for a spouse visa under FLR(M), but is there a significant chance of this affecting the outcome of the application?

Has anyone here been in a situation where they've needed to declare such an event, and if so how did it turn out for you?
