How to calculate Catagory A Non-Salaried income?

Post by noirouge » Mon Jan 08, 2018 12:42 pm

Hi there,
I'm new here, so I'm sorry if I post this in the wrong area/space/section.

I'm a bit confused with the calculation for Catagory A, non-salaried employment, if anyone could shed some light on this, I'd really appreciate it.

We are currently applying for a fiancee visa. My fiance is currently in full time employment. He works on a rota basis for however many hours he works a week, and gets a payslip every 4 weeks. On his contract it is stated he gets paid 13 times a year/every 4 weeks. (hourly)

How should we calculate this? As we are taking his payslips from August to January, he got paid twice in September, so that's a total of 7 payslips within 6 months.
Will the HO calculate it as 6 months salary / 6 x 12 or will they calculate it by 26 weeks/weekly wage?

Any insight would be really appreciated! :)

Since the guideline of financial requirement is in months so you should prefer to convert weekly figures into months. I believe you are already familiar as how to convert that into months. I also think that even if you attach payslips of extra weeks then required (if you have sufficiently earned) then it should also be fine for just incase.
