Can Tier-2 Dependent stay without Primary Applicant

Post by salinimanjith » Wed Jan 10, 2018 11:44 pm

I am a Tier 2 (ICT) dependent visa holder, currently looking for a job in UK.
What happens if the primary applicant is transferred back to his base country (India)?
Till how long can I stay & work here, My visa expired in 2019 Augest. So till that time can i work in uk?
is it till my visa is valid? If not, what are the options available for me apart from applying tier 1
      from outside UK.
Is it possible to change my current visa type to Tier-2 General ?
I am a post graduate holder also having 5 years of experience in IT Industry.

They expect your dependants to return with you if you leave. But their leave remains valid, unless curtailed.

However, if someone's circumstances or purpose change, then s/he may be refused entry when s/he comes to the UK.
