I've found out I need to leave the UK in early August and I'm set to apply for ILR by mid February. That leaves me less than 6 months to get a decision on ILR. Does anyone here know if this is reasonable? I am applying from Tier 1 Entrepreneur Extension.
HO sets out 6 months as their service standard for ILR applications. I got mine in about 2 months and as CR001 there have been people waiting for over a year. So, the service standard does not seem to mean anything.

Is there ANYTHING I can do to speed up the decision?
1. Apply as soon as you qualify - 28 days before 5 years.
2. Keep your application simple, straightforward, limit to required documents and proactively explain any complexities in the cover letter.
3. Organise your documents in a manner easy for CW to go through - I have put an application example that you will see here.
uk-tier-1-entrepreneur-visas/an-example ... 34487.html
4. Explain your need to travel in the cover letter and provide evidence, if any.
None of the above guarantees but I think will help speed it up.
