Need help regarding applying for permit to stay as Eu citizen family Norway

Hello to all
I am Afghan citizen married with polish girl working and living in Norway for 5 years
I got schengen visa from Norway embassy Islamabad now i am in Norway and i want to apply for permit to stay
Now i want to know its only one option for me to apply for permit permit to stay as au citizen family or i can apply for permanent residency??
And other question is how long it will take maximum and minimum
