Switching of sponsors in recent Tier 2 ICT visas

Hi,

I have a Long term Tier2 ICT visa valid from July 2017 to July 2018. Recently, I have received a very good offer from UK based company and they are ready to offer me sponsorship also. Can I immediately apply new visa with new CoS? Or do I have to go back to my home country for new application? Or do I have to stay back in my home country for next 12 months as Cooling off?

Which category of Tier 2 are they prepared to sponsor?

What is the salary they are offering?

Thanks for your quick response.

They are planning to provide me sponsorship on Tier 2 General work visa with a salary of 38000 p.a.
