You can skip ILR is you intend to register them as British once you receive ILR.3- We have two children 4y and 4m old, is it ok to not apply their ILR and wait for our ILR and apply for their citizenship once we get ours?
CR001 is as usually very correct and you save a lot of money not applying for ILR. There is technically a period when their current leave lapses and since they have yet to apply for anything new are not under any visa coverage (you have 3C). I do not know the reason why this is not an issue though.
