Tier 2 decision letter mistakes. Need advice

Post by lpalayil » Tue Jan 16, 2018 4:04 pm

Hello All,

I recently applied for tier 2 general visa ( change of sponsor) using the priority service. I received a decision letter on 9th Jan 2018 stating that the application has been approved and the BRP will be sent within 7 working days. I have not received the BRP yet. However I noticed that there were some mistakes on the details on the decision letter. The end date of leave to remain did not match the end date provided in the cos. Also the work address was pointing to the recruitement agency address instead of the sponsor address.

Since the BRP has not arrived yet, is there anything I can do to get these mistakes corrected?

Should I be waiting until I receive the BRP card to report these mistakes? And can I start the work at the new company if I receive the BRP card but it still has the end date of leave not matching the date provided in the cos letter?

Many thanks in advance
L

Yes. A letter of course is just that, a letter. If the same error is on your BRP, then report it. You should get a leaflet with your BRP card telling you what to do.

How long have you been on Tier 2 (dd/mm/yyyy)??

What were the dates on the CoS?

What date does the letter state as 'end date'?
Char (CR001 not Casa)
