Switch from Tier 4 to Spouse visa and Cash savings bank letter prove help!!

Hi everyone,

I'm currently on Tier 4 student visa which expiring on 31st September 2018. Me and my boyfriend are going to give notice to the HO in Feb and planning to get married in April so I can switch to Spouse visa afterwards. My questions are:

1. Can I switch from Tier 4 visa to Spouse visa way before my current visa expired which around April/May?
2. My savings account is currently in my country which I can get the original bank letter prove in Feb when I'm going back to my country to visit. Is there any requirement for the date of issue on the bank letter prior to the application date?
