ILR for dependents

Post by baburao.rame » Tue Jan 23, 2018 7:21 pm

Hello Everyone ,

Need your help on Tier 2 Dependent Visa .

(1) Me, my wife and kid entered UK in April 2014 ( Tier 2 Visa was till May 2017)
(2) My wife and Kid were away from UK from May 2016 to Sep 2017 (16 months out of UK )
(3) I got my Visa extension from March-2017 to April 2020
(4) My Wife and kid applied for Tier 2 dependent visa and got it till ( April 2020)

I will apply for ILR in 2019 ( 5 year continues stay on Tier 2 visa route).

My question is
(1) what happens to my wife and Kids Visa after I get my ILR ?
(2) Can both continue till 2020 as Tier 2 Dependent ?
(3) If (2) is correct then can she go for Tier 2 dependent extension in 2020 to finish her 5 year route and be eligible for ILR ?

Thanks
-Rane

Their clock was reset to zero by applying for a new entry clearance more than 28 days after the last visa expired. They can continue on their existing visas (and extend if necessary) until the meet the requirements for ILR.
