Failed Asylum and Relationship Query

Post by Chelsuz85 » Tue Jan 23, 2018 10:13 pm

Hello house, please I will like to ask a question on behalf of a friend.
She came into UK in 2012 on a visitors visa with her child and husband, it expired in May 2012, she went on to have another child and then she filed for Asylum in June 2014, , had another child in 016. Her Asylum have now been refused as the HO does not think that her case is strong enough that she is unable to return to her country of origin. Over the period mentioned above, she separated from husband which is known to HO. Last year, got into a relationship with a person from EU resident in UK. My question is, as the HO denied her Asylum, can she make a different kind of application to the HO for residence? Please your advice will be well appreciated. Thank you

Is she divorced?

How long has she been 'living in a relationship akin to marriage' with the EU citizen and what evidence does she have to prove it??
