British Citizenship .....

Post by Jack1234 » Tue Jan 30, 2018 12:10 pm

I was born in the UK , and iam a minor .. so,,
What are the requirements required for an applicant to apply at the discretion of the home secretary
Section 3.(1) ? As it was written in the guide ( " Alternatively, a child born in the UK whose parents are not settled in the UK and are not applying for settlement of British citizenship may be registered at the discretion of the Home Secretary" ) So i this the only requirement or what ? Beacuse when i asked if i can apply from outside the uk at discretion, the answer was yes, as long as u meet the requirements
.
If u could attach a link for an evidence, this would be better

Thanks in advance,,,,

How long have you lived in the UK?

Where are your parents?

Did they ever hold ILR/PR in the UK after your birth?

What were your parents immigration status in the UK when you were born~??

Concur.

Instead of posting as new users with little/no extra information, why not just add more details in the original topic? Perhaps the answers may be different after knowing the full circumstances.

Perhaps hoping for the answer they wish to hear by posting multiple times under different names
