Regardless number of times you will ask even in different threads will get same answer that ielts academic/general are not acceptable for spouse visa because although they have above level but are of different type with different test centre than the ones on HO list. It's really upsetting that you got higher level with high marks in English proficiency but they don't care and are chained up with their list. As you mentioned in your other thread that you will reapply with naric comparability report plus same ielts academic/general that you used previously which may confuse them again. Since naric comparability report will cost you same then why don't you simply do even B1 level of ielts skills for life test to meet initial, second and ILR application - if the rules don't changes.Katie_France wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2018 7:09 pmIs there anyone on this forum who was granted a spouse visa submitting IELTS for UKVI (not life skills)?
I am trying to figure out if my rejection was due to the fact that I didn’t state URN (ukvi number) in my application or due to the test itself. I only submitted test report form with my application.
UKVI issues the visa, not the British Council! Look at the UK government website at https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... uage-tests .Katie_France wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2018 9:47 pmSecondly, I don’t want to sit the test which I have already. If you look on the IELTS web site, https://takeielts.britishcouncil.org/ielts-ukvi/score it is clearly written: Family route - 4.0 IELTS for UKVI in speaking and listening.
Above link I 've given you in your initial thread which still not understandable to you . It's in easy english and clearly mentioning ielts skills for life for spouse visa and ielts academic/general for other categories. It's not the matter about test type but about the approved test centre which is on list for that particular test.Katie_France wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2018 9:47 pmSeagul, it is not about money but about time

I want to understand what went wrong with my test. And my current thought is that I didn’t state URN in my application.
Seagul, thank you for your response. Your point of view was clear for me in another topic and there was no need to repeat yourself. You didn’t apply with IELTS for UKVI, I asked people who applied with IELTS for UKVI, to have the understanding of their experience.seagul wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2018 11:01 pm
