Spouse and Child Visa of a British citizen

Post by Aniv2801 » Mon Jan 29, 2018 1:25 pm

Hi there,

My wife and child (both Indians) were previously on tier-1 dependent visa in the UK and they did not extend their visa as we all moved to India for a year. I'm a British citizen now and we would like to apply for the family visa and come back to the UK to settle.

1. What Visa forms should I apply for spouse and child of a British citizen? Is it the settlement online application, Appendix 2 and SU07 forms! Kindly confirm?

2. Apart from the minimum income requirement, do I need to show any fund maintanence in the last 90 days as I did for their Tier-1 dependent visa?

3. What list of supporting documents are required?

Thanks
Aniv

1. Yes > Family members > 2 (partner) and 4 (child).

2. No (E-ECP.3.1.).

3. Appendix FM-SE.

Thanks for the confirmation.

Just to confirm again for Financial requirements in E-ECP.3.1 - The requirement in E-ECP.3.1(a) as pasted below ALONE is sufficient and I don't have to meet the savings in E-ECP 3.1(b)?

(a) a specified gross annual income of at least-
(i) £18,600;
(ii) an additional £3,800 for the first child; and
(iii) an additional £2,400 for each additional child

Thanks

Yes. No savings required if you can prove you meet the financial income requirement.

Thank you.

Do I need to fill the SU07 form?

My wife is one of the director's of my limited company and she was receiving salary and dividends while she was in India and UK Tier-1 visa expired. Can I show this money as income proof to claim more earnings ? however just my earnings itself would suffix the income requirement

Regards
B

Spouse and Child Visa for British Citizens

Post by Aniv2801 » Wed Jan 31, 2018 7:10 pm

Hello,

I am a British and applying Visa for my spouse and 2 years old Son(both Indians) to join me in the UK.

1. Can I just do one application (Online application and Appendix 2 form) for both of them ?

2. Both wife and Son were in UK previously on PBS dependent(Visa expired) and they had GP consultations over that time. Do I need to fill this in the medical treatment page in the online application - the form has provision to just enter only one date! If wife has visited GP on 21-01-2017, will I be filling the same date in From-date and To-date?

Thanks

Child visa settlement

Post by json280116 » Sat Feb 03, 2018 3:29 pm

Hello,

I'm a British citizen and in the process of applying spouse and child visa from India.

1. I'm submitting online application and Appendix-2 forms for wife and Child separately. Can I submit one set of original and a copy of support documents for both applicants?

2. In the online application, there is a question for Medical treatment dates. My wife and Child stayed on PBS dependent earlier in UK. Do I need to mention all dates for their GP visits? For example, If they visited GP on 1/1/2017 will I enter the same date in the treatment_from_date and treatment_to_date?

3.Can I do a fast track visa for settlement visas? What is the normal processing time for fast track settlement visas?

Thanks
