Does SERCO own UKVI?

Post by Parthaab » Mon Feb 05, 2018 12:54 pm

Who really owns UKVI which controls immigration?
All the Govt contracts, go straight to SERCO, the largest company in the world, that operates in secret.
They are the old 'East India Company', resurrected once again

Serco is a contracting company for the government and there are many others too, not only Serco. HO/UKVI is a government department, not 'owned' by anyone/company.

What relevance is your post??

It controls not only immigration, but even air traffic control and nuclear missiles for many countries. Like East India Company, it is multi national, and probably a front for the old East India Company. UKVI is most likely only a name for the front for massive operations around the world.

Details are sketchy obviously, but some are on UK websites https://www.theguardian.com/business/20 ... r-heard-of

RT websites also some sketchy details ( but interesting, if you google for them ), but all fingers point in that direction.

The article link you post is from 2013. There are many contracting companies that do work for the government.

UKVI is a government department and uses third party agents, like Serco or VFS or Gerry's or G4S etc etc.

We don't need a topic on this issue, which is not relevant to the purpose of the forum.

SERCO has its own immigration website.
The more you google for details, the more you come up with interesting links about its role in immgration.
How can a company based in UK that too specialising in border control not be involved in UK immigration?

Why do people who dont even know about this company, or who really UKVI is, be quick in dismissing its importance and relevance?

https://www.serco.com/uk/sector-expertise/immigration

In Australia, it has an immigration agreement with the government.

It is a SECRET company ( as declared ), and this explains why details can only be sketchy. This is one of the later articles, but you can google it for yourself

I'm unsure what your intention here is? :? The UKVI is just one of the Government Agencies under the Home Office.

The Home Office is the lead government department for immigration and passports, drugs policy, crime, fire, counter-terrorism and police.

"Who we are
Our main offices are based in London, but we also have staff based around the country.

We are supported by a number of agencies and public bodies including:

Border Force
HM Passport Office
Immigration Enforcement
UK Visas and Immigration"

https://www.gov.uk/government/organisat ... fice/about

I agree with CR001 that this topic isn't relevant to the forum.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

Did you miss this piece in your first link :
We help governments meet the challenge of managing immigration by applying intelligence, strengthening border controls, sensitively managing people, working in close partnership with voluntary organisations to deliver housing and welfare support, and delivering efficiencies through the system that reduce cost and enable the swift repatriation or successful integration of migrants into society.
As Casa asks, what is your intention with this topic, which will only become another 'everyone guessing' etc one.

Its a SECRET organisation, and hence it is nt expected for any of the parties ( HO or SERCO ) to declare their real purpose.

The rubbish and expensive service provided by UKVI fits the description of SERCO services which are a source of complaints around the world.
