NHS IHS surcharge to pay again when extending?

Post by jdvnqp » Mon Feb 05, 2018 7:15 pm

Hello all

Please help with the following:

Applied for my wifes visa back in May 2015. At that time we paid for the NHS IHS surcharge fee.

We are now applying for her extension after 2.5 years and so was wondering if we need to pay for this again?

When doing the Visa application form online, we entered the old IHS number from 2015 and it did let us go to the next section, so we were wondering if we dont need to do this again?

Did the IHS number have any expiry date?

Thanks in advance

Yes, the IHS surcharge is due again for FLR(M).
(Casa, not CR001)

And you need a new IHS reference number, you cannot use the old number.
Char (CR001 not Casa)
