Hi Members,
I am in a cofused state. My wife who wishes to join me in the UK on a spouse visa recently undertook a IELTS (Academic) exam. She scored in excess of 7 band in all 4 modules at C1 level. The primary reason for IELTS was to satisfy the english visa requirement.
While researching I have found out that IELTS academic is not accepted for spouse visa and it needs to IELTS (Academic) UKVI. I must mention at this point that there is no UKVI reference on her IELTS certificate.
I have read that Some of the members visas have been refused due to this reason, no sure though if their spouses scored sufficient in every module.
My questionto respected members is can this IELTS be accepted or does she need to do it again? Also it would help if there is a way to get this confirmed from the Home office i.e. email address?
