Tier 2ICT dependent to tier 2 ict

Me and my wife are working in the same company and are both on independent tier2 ict long term visa and have consumed 4 years now. If I convert my visa to Ict tier2 dependent, and continue to work in uk now in same company, will it be considered as cooling off period of the previously held ict long term visa? Also after serving 1 year on the dependent visa , will I be able to apply for ict tier 2 long term visa again from the same company ? I understand I would need to apply from my home country

Yes 1 year as a dependent is the cooling off period.

Why would you want to apply for ICT again instead of Tier 2 general??
