AN application documents EEA

Post by magda1988g » Tue Feb 21, 2017 12:18 am

Hi, I'm quite confused what documents I supposed to send with my APPLICATION?
From what I understood all I need is:
payment slip, certificates from English and life in UK tests, passport, and permanent residence card

Am I right?

Start with AN application form and guidance:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... en-form-an
Note there is not a specific application for EEA citizens.

I can tell you what I have submitted as a non-EEA with PR card (not married to British but married to EEA national)

Passports
Payment slip
AN form
LIUK
Degree certificate (UK university)
BRP
Photos

You have to make sure you were present in the UK 5 years ago when making your application.

I'm not sure if EU nationals have to submit extra documentation to show they were present in the U.K. as their passports are not stamped.

Application

Post by magda1988g » Fri Feb 09, 2018 7:22 pm

Today I finally applied for citizenship, I had appointment through national checking service in Southampton, was pleasant and prompt.
The man checked my application page by page and corrected if something was missing,
then asked me if I was in the country at the specific day 5 years back from my appointment date,
Then checked and copied documents which were :
Passport, pr, ID card, payslips from April 2016, and P60s, and of course certificate from test in English and liuk, never get asked for bank statements or any additional documents which was relief .
Last thing was the payment slip.
My application will reach HO on monday and then fee will be deducted, as for today 1282.00 expensive business.
Now I need to wait for letter to register my Biometric and my job is done, fingers crossed .

NCS appointment - 09/02/2018

You might have a problem as your English test (ESOL) is no longer an accepted test and has been the case since November 2015.

It must be an HO approved SELT IELTS B1 English test.
