Query ILR

Post by vlabathomas » Thu Nov 02, 2017 9:50 pm

Hello,

Are there any maintenance funds we need to maintain for ilr visa application ?

If we opt for a premium route or a priority route what are the timelines before i can get a decision. ?

regards

No. You don't require maintenance funds.

If your case is straight forward then you can expect the decision on the same day.

I'm eligible for apply for ilr this april and part of this application requires me to submit copies of p60 for 5 year period. I'm missing Pay slips from March 2013 till Dec 2015 and P60's with my first employer . I did get a p45 when i left the firm in 2015 and i've been working with another firm since then,

My first firm got sold to another company and again it got sold to another firm within the past 3 years so in effect the management and hr side has changed a lot. I rung up HMRC and they gave a statement of earnings statement for the period.

Is this enough or do I need P60 still . If so how do i get it ?

as far as i know, you dont need P60 or P45 if you are applying Tier 2 G route. all you need is latest payslip and the bank statement. both should not be older than one calendar month. but most people submit 3 months payslips and 3 months bank statements.

you can request the "Employment History" document from HMRC and keep it with you just in case they asked.

There is no 'standard format'. It is simply a letter.

Leave Statement for ILR

Post by vlabathomas » Thu Feb 08, 2018 4:43 am

Hi,

I've got a query, can someone please help for ILR application ?

I'm trying to get a copy of statement of leaves from my old employer to submit as a part of the ilr application. The company i worked for from 22.4.2013 to 9.12.2014 was sold to another company in 2016.
When i reached out to them last week to generate a report of all leaves i took during my tenure i was told the IT systems are all changed now so they dont have the list of leaves taken during the period.

What should i do here?

I had the same problem with my previous employer. I sent them(employer) my flight tickets as proof to say I was out of country on annual leave.

Also, I managed to get the letter confirming;

1.my annual leave entitlement per year(they can get it from your contract)
2. Confirmation that I have not being on unpaid leave during the employment. (They can get this looking in to your payroll info)

Try to get the same letter.

I think what they are mentioning is they dont have access to the old payroll info to get statement of leaves.

I'm sure there are loads of companies that go bust so there should be another way out.

Any assistance please?

Clarification leaves

Post by vlabathomas » Thu Feb 08, 2018 11:02 pm

Can someone clarify if in the ILR application statement of leaves taken with the employer, does this account for out of country leaves only or just annual leave, sick leave etc..

There is still a lack of understanding and i've been told its just the leaves out of country we need to account for when we get a letter from HR.

Please clarify what is correct

Police document

Post by vlabathomas » Sat Feb 10, 2018 8:53 pm

While on the tier 2 i had actually lost a passport in Netherlands. The police report is in Dutch language.
In the ILR question one question is to submit previous passports.
Do I need to translate this dutch police report into english ?
what's the procedure ?
