Applicants original passport and original BRP.

Certified copy or copy of British spouse passport is fine.

Should be fine.

You do realise that your passport and BRP will be kept by HO for as long as they take to process and decide your application.

Why don't you apply through NCS so you can keep all your original documents?

I'd recommend Nationality document return service than NCS. It easily will take 2-3 weeks off processing time by paying online and downloading biometrics letter.

This is a cool service. Innovation from HO.
