Unfortunately, you don't benefit from your father's British citizenship as he was British after the time of your birth.

What is the status of your mother?

Have you registered a new username to ask the same question again, to which you previously received an answer in October?

What is the other way?
You will need to find a visa you qualify for.
do i need to go for Dependent visa?
You don't qualify for a dependent visa based on your father as you are now over 18 years of age.

OP is not 18 yet, he will be next june, therefore he may still qualify. Giving his age, the issue of sole responsibility may not be much of an obstacle.

Confusing when the same user has two usernames and states in one topic in October he is already 18 and in this topic that he is 17!

You ought to have applied before you turned 18, but now that you are 18, it is pretty tough.

Interesting. I don't know why people do this. It is like they are trying to waste out time.

That is why I just don't bother replying sometimes, as the version are so contradicting of each other, at best and deceit at worst.

Agree completely Obie, just lose the will sometimes to be honest and people seem to just take it for granted that free advice can't be demanded.

Given you differing age statements under the two usernames you have registered, it is difficult for anyone on a forum to offer advice if you don't give accurate facts.

Appendix 2, same as your mother, but your own form.

A note though, IF you are already 18 as your other username states, your application will be refused.

Why are you applying so late? Why don’t you and your mother apply earlier and postpone the travel date up to three months, if necessary?
