Changing Employer under tier 2 category - need advice

I am currently on a tier 2 visa and completing 5 years on 3rd August 2018.
Now I got a conditional offer from a new company (also the new company completed RLMT).
On accepting this offer, the company will apply for new visa with start date as 30th april 2018. After successful visa application, I ll get the unconditional offer letter. Now I have few questions.

1.) If the new company apply for visa and if its refused for some reason, will it affect my current tier 2 visa which is sponsored by my current company

2.) If I start my work in this new company on 30th april, does it makes my ILR application in august any complicated. ( I am working for the same company all through my tier 2 visa period till now)

3.) After successful visa application with start date as 30th april 2018, If for some reason I want to postpone the start date by a week or two, is it ok?

3.) Is there any specific list of documents I should get from my current company for ILR application before leaving.

No it should not.

No. Remember you need absence letters from ALL employers for ILR.

Should be ok if CoS note is added in the SMS system as far as I understand.

Absence letter for ALL absences.
