Hi

Anyone any idea how I would get a bankers draft for the citizenship if my bank doesn't do them? I bank with nationwide who say they don't do bankers draft, can u get from any bank or do u have to bank with that bank to be able to get one?

Usually it has to be the bank you bank with as your account will be debited immediately and the funds held in suspense till draft is bank.

A friend can get the draft for you from their bank. It doesn't matter who does the draft as long as the name on the draft is "Secretary General...". I did it through my account for my partner when he got his draft. Ulster Bank customers have no problems getting drafts. There will be a commission charge though.
