Acting CEO vs. Director?

Hi Everyone,

I have been working for a fast growing tech start-up just for over a year. I joined as a BDM a team of 5, but after 3 months was asked to step in the role of Acting CEO. Since then the company grew 3x and had a great commercial progress.

My question is do I apply as a Director (I wasn't registered as a Director on HMRC) or as an employee? My employment contract title is BDM, however, I can prove my Acting CEO title by client/internal communications.

Your help would be highly appreciated. If anyonce could recommend an immigration lawyer, please drop me a message.
