ILR for PBS Tier 1 (G) Dependent - Employment docs?

Post by dodgydave7102 » Sat Feb 24, 2018 4:50 pm

Hi all, I'm now a British citizen since last year (came thru Tier - 1 General, ILR, Naturalisation and finally British citizenship route).

My spouse came on PBS Tier 1 Dependent visa in Feb 2013 so completes 5 years this month (no absences of more than 180 days in last 5 years). We will be applying for her ILR next month but I had a few queries please - appreciate if anyone can help!

1) We will be using SET (O) form but since he is applying just for himself, he will be considered as "Main applicant" on the form - is this the correct?

2) My spouse has been working the last 5 years so do we need to show his employment history documents i.e. Salary slips, P60s, Bank statements etc?

3) I am submitting the following docs in the application - appreciate if anyone can review for anything I may have missed?
- SET (O) form
- 2 photographs
- Original passport and BRP
- Marriage certificate (I don't think this is required?)
- Proof of co-habitation - last 2 years proof - Council Tax, tenancy agreements, bank statements
- List of absences (all holidays) - proof would be flight bookings etc I think
- KOLL docs - Life in UK, English language certificates
- My British passport (to prove my citizenship)

4) Finally, once we receive the ILR, given that I'm already a British citizen, he can apply for British citizenship immediately i.e. he doesn't have to apply for Naturalisation - is this correct?

Again, many thanks for your help, really appreciate it!

Thanks!

Correct. Your spouse is the Main Applicant.
2) My spouse has been working the last 5 years so do we need to show his employment history documents i.e. Salary slips, P60s, Bank statements etc?
No.

No need for proof or evidence of absence.
