Dear Friends,
Recently I had my tier 2 dependant visa refused based on paragraphs 319C (d), (e) and (f) because I had sent just my marriage certificate as proof of relationship. I am currently preparing the documents for a new application and some questions have raised up.
The officer who had analyzed my application suggested some documents to corroborate our relationship is ongoing and subsisting. We don’t have exactly the same documents suggested by the officer, however I found few tips over some blogs wrote by people who had had similar problems. After contacting UKVI by email (and paid for it), I’ve got a response directing myself to look for an advisor and unfortunately I can’t afford a solicitor.
I’m listing below the documents we have collected for the new application and willing for some advice on it.
• A cover letter
• Power of attorney – Issued in 2012 allowing myself to represent her while she had been studying in UK for the first time
• Personal cards and postcards headed to us from our relatives in many occasions
• Declarations from our dental care that we have been living at the same address since 2014 (both)
• Santander Bank statement declaring we share a credit card account since October 2016
• Visa credit card bills since March 2016 as her proof of address and proof of a joint credit card since October 2016
• Water bills since December 2016 as my proof of address
• Health insurance bills covering the last year at the same address as a proof of co habitation (both)
• Certificate of Registration issued by Nottingham Police indicating we shared the same address during our postdoctoral period
• Durham University invoice indicating she lived at the same address in 2012
• Internet bills covering my current address in the last year
• Marriage certificate
• Photos of various occasions of our relationship from 2006 to 2018
• Emails received from the University of Bath offering my wife a position as associate researcher months after our marriage
• My personal documents
Those documents are all in portuguese and I did a official translation for declaration and statements. One question is: did someone translated bills? There are almost 100 pages and it would be a fortune.
Does anyone knows about Hague apostiles? What should be apostilled?
I hope somebody can help me!
Thanks anyway
