Canadian Looking for Irish Citizenship and Working Visa for Spouse

Post by jnelford » Mon Feb 26, 2018 7:08 pm

Hi,

I am thinking about going to London Business School and pursuing a career in investment banking in London. I am Canadian and can get an Irish passport because of my grandma. My fiancée is from Brazil. If we got married soon (which we plan to do), would she be able to get a work visa as my spouse so that she can work in London too?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

It depends on the process you need to follow to get an Irish passport. It takes many months and might involve FBR registration first.

If you have an Irish passport, then an EEA Family Permit will work, provided it is before Brexit.
