Spouse visa application & request to return passport

Gents,
Just to understand if I am able to get passport while applying my Mrs application?
I am intending to apply her application in few days but traveling in April so I will need a passport.
Appreciated for your response.

Then better to send notarised/certified copy of passport which usually is acceptable.

Can solicitors In the uk certify the copy & acceptable by visa dept.

If this is for a spouse visa and you have a British Passport, you just need to send photocopy of bio page no need to do anything else etc.
