Do you mean to say that your child is due to be born in September 2018 or that your child was born in September 2017 (or indeed some other year)?

Where was your child born?

No he is not automatically British as he was born BEFORE you were granted ILR this year (assuming your dates are all correct).
Char (CR001 not Casa)

If he was born in the UK, then he is entitled to register.
