Cooling off period for extensions

Hello

I am on tier 2 intra company long term staff visa which is due for expiry by March end. My company is moving me to a new location and therefore wont be extending the visa in the UK. However, I do need to extend it by couple of months to complete a project. What are the implications of this extension by few months my to cooling off period? A) Will my company be allowed a 3 month COS as an extension? And b) if I leave the country on the extended visa in just 2 months, will my cooling off period still be warranted? I read somewhere the cooling off period doesnt activate until you have served 3 months in the country... Remem I do have the 3 years that I have already worked in...

Your post is unclear. You can't 'extend' a visa outside the UK. It would be a new entry clearance visa.

Your cooling off period starts from the date you leave the UK. If your sponsor is not prepared to extend it, how will you get a 3 month extension??

I have a smilar question. First travel to UK was on August 2014 and stayed there until July 2017 on Tire 2 ICT Long Term visa. I have renewed my visa on Dec 2016 and was valid until Nov 2017. But I have traveled back to India on July 2017.Now my company again wish to file ICT this month and it is just 8 months, I am back from UK. Does my case need cooling period. It is same company sponsor from India. Please assist. Thank you.
