Bambambambam wrote: ↑Fri Mar 09, 2018 11:09 amHi guys just needed some advice, I applied for my British citizenship on the 23/02/2018, my question is I only sent off my life in the uk test as proof of my English skills, do you think I would get rejected based on that, also I left my family’s name blank as I was in care and I don’t have any family relationship. I hope I can get some reply soon. Thanks.
You need to submit what is required, and not leave out things which you consider not relevant.Bambambambam wrote: ↑Fri Mar 09, 2018 11:21 amI was under the impression the life in the uk test was enough for my application, I came here when I was a child and been here half of my life, so I done the life in the uk test only and sent off the receipt. With my family background, I left the details of my father and mother’s name as I have no relationship with them but wrote a letter stamped with the local authorities on why I left it blank.
B1 is required irrespective how long you lived here (in my case 38 years when I applied).Bambambambam wrote: ↑Fri Mar 09, 2018 11:25 amI meant I left the names of my father and mother blank their date of birth and their nationality. Also I didn’t send off a b1 certificate just the life in the uk test result, I had been here for over half of my life as a child.
It would be advisable to send your b1 certificate / test of English language "if you have it", to HO asap. It's part of the Requirements.Bambambambam wrote: ↑Fri Mar 09, 2018 11:25 amI meant I left the names of my father and mother blank their date of birth and their nationality.
