Dependent born In Uk

Post by imbaig45 » Sat Mar 10, 2018 11:36 am

Hi,

I (Main applicant) am applying for my ILR On 16/03/18 I have 3 Dependent Wife one Daughter(Born In UK currently holds Tier 2 Dependent visa) and son (Born In UK Born in November 2017 Does not any hold passport yet)

Wife Im applying tier 2 dependent( By post) Not a problem

My questions are

Daughter (Born In UK currently holds Tier 2 Dependent visa) :

I have to register her as British citizen first through MN1 form after that I will apply for Passport once she gets the certificate through MN1 (Is that right)

Once I receive her certificate do I have to wait for certain time to apply for her Passport? and how do I apply for her Passport (Application from Post Office?)

Son : Who was born in November and does not hold any passport and visa yet, How should I apply for his passport after my ILR do I have to use MN1 form or is there any other route

Please advise

I really appreciate for your advise thanks in advance

Regards

Hi,

Hope you got all visas aproved!.

I have similar situation as you but will be applying for ILR next year.

Son: Born in UK(June this year), we are planning to register him as indian citizen and apply for Indian passport and Tier-2 dependent visa. We are doing this because we have a plan to travel India in December.
My understandig is that, even though he is tier-2 dependent, he CAN still get British citizen after parents become ILRs without becoming ILR dependent. correct?.

Daughter: She born in India and she stayed in UK for 5years as tier-2 dependent. so she CAN'T get British citizen ship without becoming ILR dependent. correct?.

Thanks,
Naresh
