Declaration form help needed

Post by wak9001 » Sun Mar 11, 2018 12:33 pm

Hi guys,

I wanted to check something if possible please. The declaration form on the application which my wife has to sign, can she provide this at the Biometrics appointment or does this need to be sent back to me as I am submitting docs from the UK as her sponsor.

I've read for priority you only get 10 days to send docs after biometrics and this will be a real squeeze if that's the case. If she doesn't need to send me the form back and they can scan it when she hands her passport in, I can get her to send docs and then submit the online application.

She is applying from Pakistan, so any help would be really appreciated.

Many thanks

Maybe you refering about appendix 2 form which the applicant need to sign but I don't think it's necessary to bring for biometrics when the print out of online application is in hand which don't need signature. Usually print out of online application, IHS & application payment receipt, appointment confirmation need for biometrics. I also think appendix 2 even sponsor can sign on applicant's behalf after hand filling it up.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Online application needs to be taken to biometrics appointment and to be sent with documents to Sheffield. Your wife has to sign it. DHL only takes 2 days to deliver documents from Pakistan to UK.

You can have couple of days between your online application submission and biometrics so you have couple of extra days to receive her documents from Pakistan.
Biometrics Karachi 04/08/17
Decision received 11/10 (Visa refused on subsisting relationship)
Acknowledgment 18/12/17
Deadline 02/04/18
Decision withdrawn 26/02/18
Decision overturned 29/03/18
PP submitted 3/4/18
Visa granted 9/4/18

Can she sign, scan and send the signed document ? that may be quicker. Alternatively am thinking she can print of two copies, send me one and keep one to take with her to biometrics appointment. As you said, there will be a few days from application submission to her biometrics being done.

Thanks for your help :)

Some members have done that too. I personally sent original signed copy to my husband so choice is yours.

Good luck with your application.
