UK ILR work in Dublin?

Hello I will have ILR (indefinite leave to remain) next year, but also a job opportunity in government embassy in Dublin.
Q : If I start to work in Dublin and by the time next year can I get the ILR from UK there is no border so I have some restrictions to get ILR but can they understand that and how ? Thank you.

You cannot apply for ILR if you are not resident in the UK.
