Switch to Tier 4 dependent from Tier 2 ICT

Post by shetty86 » Thu Mar 15, 2018 5:55 am

Hi,

Require some advice

Scenario: My husband is currently on Tier 2 ICT visa which will expire on February 2019. I am planning to do my second Masters in UK, September 2018 intake. Few questions:

1) Can my husband switch to Tier 4 dependent whilst his Tier 2 ICT is still Valid? will there be any problem?
2) Since I am doing my second Masters in the UK will It be a problem to get TIER 4 visa?
3) My daughter 4 years old, will she be allowed to study in the UK schools for free?
4) Total funds to be shown for TIer4 dependants?

Please help!

Regards,
Nisha

Anyone can apply in the UK as a PBS Dependant, except the people listed in Part 8 of the Immigration Rules, paragraph 319C(h): https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... ly-members

There are various factors you need to look at, including the 5 year cap and academic progress. Speak to your Tier 4 sponsor directly about this.

There are set monthly amounts, depending where you are studying. How many months' money they need to show depends on how long the visa will be. See https://www.ukcisa.org.uk/Information-- ... layer-3369

Hi.

Thank You for your response.

I am looking for further help as to is this the best idea to go about regading the visa.

My husbands company is not ready to give hi a local contact on Tier 2 ICT, we are not able to understand the exact reason for this.

Hence we need to go about so many different ways in getting our visa sorted.

Not sure if things would work right.

Anyone can share experiences?

Regards,
Nisha

@shetty86 - did this approach work out?

1) Is moving from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 4 Dependant possible?
2) Once you move to Tier 4 Dependant - can you continue with your current job full time?
3) As soon as you move to Tier 4 Dependant - can you immediately find a Tier 2 General sponsor and move to the Tier 2 General VISA?

Thanks for your help.
