RTI-FPS issues tier-1 entrepreneur extension 2nd application

Post by vasann » Wed Mar 21, 2018 9:09 pm

Dear all,

I am posting this questions on behalf of my friend.

Team application 50k Share Capital.

1st application tier 1 extension -- 09/02/2017

Biometric gave on 17/02/2017
Complex letter not received
refused on 08/08/2017
The caseworker has refused their application based on the fact that RTI-FPS they have submitted did not have employee start dates. Points were awarded for remaining sections.

AR applied: 14/08/2017
They claimed that RTI-FPS they have submitted is received from HMRC, and also further stated that accountant system was crashed hence unable to retrieve software generated FPS.

AR refused: 12/09/2017

2nd application for tier 1 extension on 20/09/2017

This time they were able to retrieve FPS from the software hence they have submitted system generated RTI-FPS.

Biometric gave on 28/09/2017
Complex letter received on 18/11/2017

No communication since then,

Have anyone encountered this issue before? Their questions are as follows

1) Will caseworker look into the application again for every section to award points?

2) What are the chances of receiving a decision if they approach HO via local MP

3) Since they don't have the section 3(c), is it really necessary to maintain office if they called for an interview?

Thanks for your patience to read this thread.

UKVI will check all docs again before taking any decision.

1) it is a new application and will be treated as such.
2) what is the learning from the 1st application? If it did not help then, why would it now?
3) what has Section 3C or otherwise have to do with an office? Have they stopped trading?

Probably also best if you ask your 'friend' to register on the forum and ask their own questions as they know their business and circumstances better than a third party person asking questions.

Sorry for the ambiguity, "They" refers to applicants.

Dear Marcnath

Thanks for your response..

2) They did not approach local MP for first application.
3) Yes, they have stopped trade. their main concern is to answer if interviewer asks about the necessity of having office since both the directors have no right to deal with trade. Taking this into consideration, have they really allowed to maintain office while they dont have sec 3(c).

Thanks

Thanks for your suggestion.

I agreed with you CR001. They are not much familiar with this kind of platform(s) hence I am helping them and taking points time to time before posting here.

I further advised them to respond to this thread.

Ok. Based on the posting from other members, using an MP has not had any results.
Why do the Directors think they have no right to deal with trade ? The only thing that they can't do is to be on the payroll.

Hello Team members,

Quick update:

Yesterday around 4:00 pm my friend received a call from UKVI [No caller ID] and has been questioned as follows

1) Complete name
2) Date of birth
3) Type of Application made
4) Current status of business

The moment my friend finished to answer the questions, The lady from UKVI told that they will get back to us shortly.

No email or call thereafter

Did anyone face this situation before?

Many thanks for your time to answer my question.

Thanks

Not sure if the HO uses NO CALLER ID.
Possibly, you can expect a result sooner.
