Application for Dual Nationality French/UK for a French citizen

Hi all
I am enquiring for my daughter who is 18 years old in October. She is born in France, holding a French passport. Her mother is French and I am English. How should I go about applying for dual nationality.

Are you British born, i.e. not British by descent??

Are you married to her mother??
