Tier 2 Dependent Extension When Main applicant is on ILR

Post by imbaig45 » Sat Mar 03, 2018 12:14 pm

Hi

I (Main Applicant on Tier 2 visa expires on 30/04/2018) am applying for ILR this month

I have a dependent details as below
Wife : Currently on Tier 2 dependent visa expires on 30/04/2018 First issue 01/10/2013
Needs more 6 months Visa to apply for ILR (5 Year Route) so I am planing to extend/apply for Tier 2 dependent visa for her

I (Main applicant) am applying my ILR on premium service & after I got my ILR planing to apply for tier 2 dependent for my wife by post but when I am filling the online form for my wife it asks about main applicant stating
What is the length of Mr xxxxxxxx Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS)?
Options are less than 3 year or more than 3 years

As I (main applicant) am applying for ILR and my COS will expire on 30/04/2018 do I have to ask my employer to extend my SOC untill my wife is eligible for ILR even though I am on ILR ?
When applying for My wife ILR after 6 months when she completes her 5 years as dependent do I have to show that I am working for same employer and provide pay slips and COS
After ILR Do I have to stay with same employer until she get ILR ?

I really appreciate your advise

Thanks In advance

Tier 2 Dependent 7 Months Extension (Main Applicant Got ILR)

Post by imbaig45 » Sat Mar 24, 2018 12:44 pm

Hi,

I (Main Applicant) Got ILR Last week Now I am trying to apply my wife visa as a Tier 2 Dependent as she needs 7 Months extension only to complete 5 Years as tier 2 dependent so that she can apply for ILR

I am using this web site to apply for her Tier 2 dependent visa
https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... nt-partner

When I am filling the form it is asking the details for person you are joining with (Which will be my details)
-My (Main Applicant) Nationality
- DOB
-BIO Metric details visa expire (2024 as on ILR)
- My Cos validity less than 3 years or more than (what should I say My last COS which is expiring next month was less than 3 years)

My question is

- My Cos validity less than 3 years or more than (what should I say as My last COS which is expiring next month was less than 3 years)

- I have to give all my details (main applicant) with my wife who is applying on her own when I go to pay Immigration health charge its asking me to pay £1400 where as it should be maximum of £600

Can you please advise where I am going wrong My wife's Visa is about to expire

Thanks In advance Much appreciated
