English test requirement

HI, I am doing my 1 year level 3 in childcare course in London and I will have my certificate in November this year. in the mean time, I will have to pass a functional skill English test level 2 before finishing the course.
I am just wondering with the course certificate and functional skills test, do I still have to do the particular English test they ask for? Thank you

Yes, you need to complete the B1 test from a Home Office approved test provider if you do not have a UK Degree certificate.
