English Requirenment for FLR(M)

Post by naveenkenguva » Sun Mar 25, 2018 4:42 pm

Hi All,
Need your help with regards to FLR (M) extension visa for my spouse. I am a British Citizen and my wife’s initial leave was granted in India in September 2015. When I submitted her initial application we provided UK NARIC certicate which confirms that her level of English is C1. Just wondering if the same certifate will suffice the requirenment for an extension as well? I am getting confused on this because FLR(M) form states that A2 level of English is required.

I would really appreciate if you can please advise on this.

I look forward to your feedback.

Regards
Naveen

You should again get the naric comparability statement and if the degree couldn't weigh up to A2 level then approved typed test at approved centre will need. Since the fee for test and obtaining naric report almost same so better to pass the English test.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Your wife needs to submit a NARIC ELA (red route).
