Family Visitor visa delayed in Sheffield

I am UK citizen, getting married in London to another UK citizen in two weeks time.

My father and stepmother are Ukrainian national and we together applied for them to come to London for two weeks for my wedding (application submitted in Kiev, Ukraine). The documents then were sent to Sheffield for decision making and now delayed. The timing is becoming critical now, as they were supposed to fly in four days time.
We called to the UK Visas and Immigration contact centre, and escalated the issue. However there is no communication from them at all (though was promised over the phone) regarding reasons for this delay.
Is there anything else possible to do to speed up the decision making?
Also, what are known or expected delays in circumstances similar to mine?

And was it definitely a Standard Family visitor visa (£89) they applied for?

They have submitted payment/application on 16.02.2018 (EUR 105) and biometrics on 27.02.2018
Application says:
Submission method - Standard;
Category - Family;
Type - Visit - Family - 6 months

I can't comment on why there is a delay. I wasn't even aware that Sheffield processed visitor visas from the Ukraine.

Have had any news about their application.i am in the same situation.
My mum applied for a visitors visa in Ghana .done her biometric and submitted her documents on 15/02/2018.got a call the following week from ECO in Croydon to confirm certain details.up till now there’s been no further communication.rang up several times,all to be told awaiting decision.

No news, calling every day to UKVI information center, they are sing no info and just wait

They are also closed till Tuesday so all in a stand still till then
