Assuming your wife meets all the standard requirements (permitted absences etc), she won't have to wait for 12 months after ILR to apply for British citizenship.KG123 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 30, 2018 11:02 amHi,
I have 2 questions to ask:
1)My wife is on Tier2 PBS Dependant visa currently. She was first granted entry clearance visa in June 2013. But she came to UK on 25th July 2013. (Nearly 6 weeks after she was granted the entry clearance Visa).
Now, to apply for her ILR, 5 Year qualifying period, can we count from June 2013 or should we consider the period when she actually came to UK first time. i.e, from 25th July 2013 ? For a PBS Dependant it is from the date of entry.
2) Now am British Citizen (from Feb 2017). Her last Visa was extended in July 2017 under Tier 2, PBS Dependant category. Now to apply for her ILR, is the form " Set O" the correct application ?
or is that " Set M" application i should be using ? SET(O).
Please advise us.
Thanks and Kind Regards

Your dependant can apply from Visa Issue date. 25 June 2013. There are changes made from January 11, 2018KG123 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 30, 2018 11:02 amHi,

PBS Dependents have been included to apply for ILR based on visa issue date. There have already been successes posted on the forum.Casa wrote: ↑Sat Mar 31, 2018 7:40 pmMy understanding is that as with the newly introduced 180 day absence limit for PBS Dependants, the 5 year qualifying period from the visa issue date only applies to applications after 11 January 2018. However, I stand to be corrected if you can find anything to the contrary in the Immigration Rules.
