Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 general

Hi All,

I need your excellent advice on visa switch. I was in UK from Nov 2016 to Nov 2017 in short term tier 2 ICT visa and my visa was renewed with tier 2 Long term visa from January 4th 2018 until January 15 th 2019. however, i had to leave UK coz of contract end. Now i have different opportunity from other company. can you please tell me if i am eligible for tier 2 general. My last stay in UK with new long term ICT visa was 87 days.

please let me know if i am eligible to apply.

Unless offered a salary of more than £159,600pa, you will have to wait 12 months cooling off period, counting from the date you left the UK.

Thank you very much for your quick reply!
Even though am not sure about the the source, I read it as “ if the stay is less than 3 months, then we have a chance”. Is this statement true?
Can you please confirm.

If your VISA was issued for 3 months or less, which is not your situation.
