ILR rejected

Post by jyothi2406 » Wed Apr 04, 2018 9:33 pm

Hi
My husband (Indian nationality) applied for ILR (10yr route) last year which was rejected by the end of 2017 stating there is a gap of 1.5months and our appeal case is due this August. I am his dependent(Tier2 PBS dependent) and came to UK in the mid 2013, now applied under FLR (HR) and still pending. I had few problems in my pregnancy(2 misscarriages, 1 medical termination)and now pregnant(12 weeks) for the 4th time. I had genetic consultation as well. We both are not allowed to work and we are staying in my own sister's(British citizen) house since we can't afford. My sister is survived by her child and husband. We are living only in her support but now that I'm pregnant and since her house is very small I can't be able to have my baby in her house (fearing social services balcklist). My query is that am i eligible to get any kind of housing benefit as we don't have any job and place to live here? Please advise me in this issue.
Thanks-Jyothi.

No, you cannot claim benefits until either you or your husband hold ILR.
