Tier 2 Intercompany visa (changing sponsor)

Hi,

I currently have Tier 2 Inter-company visa and have been working in the UK for the past 7 months. I would like to change my job and start working for another A employer in next few months. Is it possible to change Sponsor but within the UK? Without cooling off period? I know that employer would need to advertise the opening for 28 days, but I am wondering if after those 28 days we could start the process of changing sponsorship while I am still in the UK? and finally would change sponsorship within UK mean that I need to switch to Tier 2 General visa?
