visa on the base of British child

Post by soha » Mon Apr 09, 2018 4:52 am

I am British ..I met one man who is here in UK on student visa..we both living together more than a year and half we are not married yet....I got pregnant and have a baby boy who is 3 month old now ...my boyfriend is already married in back home India and he got children over there as well..he is separate from them but he has not given divorce to his first wife.. ..but i was unaware when i was in relationship with him...he is saying he can extend his stay due to our son because his son is British born so he wants to look after him...can he extend his stay on the basis of our child?? he does not want to go back to India and he wants to stay here..please guide me what are the possibilities and requirements to extend or switch his visa from student visa??..thanks

Not declaring about marriage and children in India will be a case of deception when get known but disclosing about it more likely won't make him eligible for any visa just merely on that fact the child is British. HO more likely suggest him to either extend his student visa or suggest him to leave since you can look after that British child.
