Do Passport Expiry affect Visa Validity?

Hi All ,

I am going for Tier 2 general extension and my passport will expire in June 2020 but in my COS work end date is August 2020. Can any one please help me with below queries.

1. does my Application is valid?
2. If yes, what will be my visa expiry date (eg: 'June 2020+14 days' or 'August 2020+14 days')?

It is not relevant to your extension. You will get a BRP card and NOT a visa in your passport.
