Hi All,
I am a Turkish National living in the UK as a Spouse to my British husband. My parents (retired living in Turkey), are due to apply for a standard visitor visa to visit us here in the UK. My sister (housewife) her husband (employed) and their daughter (10 years old) are also planning to apply.
Most documents are ready and we are planning to complete the online application in the coming week or two, however I am looking to clarify a few points before they book the appointment in Istanbul.
1.My husband (a business owner/Director) is sponsoring my families application, bearing responsibility for all financial requirements etc. He will therefore be providing his personal and business bank statements in support. Therefore, does my father (retired) or brother in law (employed) need to provide any of their Turkish bank statements, or is this not necessary?
2. Does my husband really need to provide his business bank statements too? if so, does my husband need to provide any other form of business document, i.e. companies house documents, etc, or would a letter from his accountant confirming employment/position/salary etc suffice?
3. As my husband is willing to sponsor all of my family, should they try to apply at the same time or would it be best to have my parents apply on one day and my sister, her husband and their daughter apply on another day?
4. As my husband is sponsor, does my brother in law need to provide any documents from his employer? If so they will be in Turkish. Do they need to be translated to English?
5. My niece is a 10 year old school student, would she be required to supply any documents from her school? If so they will be in Turkish. Do they need to be translated to English?
Many thanks.
