T2 (G) Extension - up to 3 years?

Post by sallanman » Tue Apr 17, 2018 10:01 pm

Hi all.

My wife and I are nearing the end of our 2 year visas and are looking into extensions. She's on a tier 2 general, I'm on a tier 2 dependant, both working, meet salary requirements, same employer, etc. etc...

Our initial applications & associated fees were in the 'up to 3 years' category, but her certificate of sponsorship was a 2 year contract, and thus we received 2 year visas.

If we were to file for an extension with a CoS contract of 1 year, have we already paid in full from our initial application? Or, (more likely) will we owe another 'up to 3 years' fee ( + health surcharge, etc.) and receive a 1 year visa extension?

Thanks!

You have to pay again and will get a visa in line with CoS date duration.
